The world that we live in is becoming more VUCA – a term that organizational development experts use to describe environments that are Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous.
Adding to that, our internal states are prone to the negative impacts of the PAID reality – coined by our sister organization, Potential Project, and stands for our increasingly Pressured, Always On, Information Overload, and Distracted realities.
Our performance and wellbeing in both our personal and professional lives are compromised in this reality.
There are many aspects of our environment that is out of our control, but as executive coaches, mindfulness practitioners, and experts in leadership and people development, the key to being able to navigate the turbulent world we live in, no matter what external circumstances may present, is being able to maintain excellent mental and emotional balance.
