Neuroscience of Coaching
The Neuroscience of coaching is our newest programme offering, designed to help coaches master the science behind lasting change. This programme runs across three live online sessions on Tuesdays, January 13, 20 and 27, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 pm (HKT). This programme is for coaches who want to move beyond surface-level change and create deep, sustainable transformation for their clients using evidence-based neuroscience.
Traditional coaching often falls short because:
- Symptom-Focused Results: Traditional coaching often targets behaviors without addressing the brain-based root causes, leading to short-term change that doesn’t last.
- Built-In Resistance: Without accounting for how the brain resists new patterns, clients struggle to sustain progress over time.
- Lack of Neuroscience: Most programs miss the neurological science required for deep, lasting behavioral transformation.
But there’s a better way. When you understand how the brain creates and sustains change, you gain the ability to guide clients through genuine transformation. Rather than relying on motivation alone, you learn how to help clients rewire neural pathways so that new behaviours feel natural, automatic, and sustainable. This programme shows you how to work with the brain rather than against it.
The programme curriculum includes an introduction to the neuroscience of coaching, an exploration of our amazing brain, neuroplasticity, brain basics and the formation of mental maps, and five key neuroscience lenses: attentional management, the power of the subconscious, calming fight/flight/freeze, reprogramming the autopilot, and creating conditions for insight.
This programme is designed for professional coaches seeking a deeper understanding of neuroscience; personal development enthusiasts; individuals interested in innovative learning methodologies; CPD seekers; and members of the ICF and EMCC coaching community pursuing credential renewal, Continuing Coach Education (CCEs), or advanced professional development.
