Team coaching is the fastest growing area of coaching and the number of qualified supervisors, who have sufficient and relevant experience in team coaching and coaching supervision, is very limited. Not only is this an opportunity for you to expand your practice, but is also an important opportunity to contribute to this emerging domain of coaching. This programme is your opportunity to incorporate team coaching supervision into your practice. Led by leading global authorities on team coaching and on supervision, this advanced supervision training programme aims to increase the capability and capacity of supervisors to become exceptionally effective in working with Team Coaches, Team Coaching pairs, and Team Coaching Supervisors.

Prerequisites:

Training in coaching supervision
At least five years of experience as a supervisor of one-to-one coaches.

At least 3 years experience working with teams as a team coach, team leader or in team development.  An understanding of teams is essential to being able to work with team coaches as a supervisor.

Completion Requirements:Students are expected to attend ten 2-hour modules, delivered online via Zoom, interspersed with nine 2-hour Practicums. Pre-Work for the programme will include extensive reading. You will be required to enlist at least three team coaches as practice subjects for the duration of the programme and a total of five for your reflection logs. We will assist you in finding suitable volunteers. You will need to maintain records of: reflections from practice feedback from clients reflections on their supervision of team coaching supervision plus as record needed for ESIA CPD record log of practice hours

Who is this for?

The programme is designed for experienced supervisors (at least five years practice) of one-to-one coaches who want to add Team Coaching Supervision to their portfolio. Holders of the EMCC Global ESIA award and APECS accredited supervisors will automatically be eligible for meeting the entry criteria to the programme. Other forms of applied prior supervision experience and learning will also be taken into account. All potential participants will be interviewed in advance of acceptance on the programme.

Aims and Objectives

Team Coaching Supervision presents unique challenges that require additional development for Coaching Supervisors. This advanced supervision training programme is meant to help increase the capability and capacity of supervisors to become exceptionally effective in working with team coaches. We also aim to be pioneers in creating a Team Coaching Supervision framework to support the development of this profession.

Programme Structure and Completion Requirements

Ten 2 hour modules, interspersed with nine 2 hour Practicums, 2 Individual Supervision sessions, and 1 Group Supervision session.

Certification

This programme is being accredited by the EMCC as an ESQA Senior Practitioner Level.
