Parts 3 & 4
The Advanced Certificate in Professional Coaching is designed for advanced coaches. The purpose of this programme is to develop highly skilled professional coaches in order to facilitate vertical development, sustainable and meaningful transformations at a deep level. This requires the embodiment of a transformational way of being. The parts (3 & 4) in this programme are built on the foundations of our Certificate in Professional Coaching (Parts 1 & 2) or similar foundational level coach training programmes from other organisations. The focus of this programme is on developing skills with our Transformational Coaching methodology. Coaches will deepen and expand coaching skills and graduate with the competency and capability to coach at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level, as defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and beyond. The training is presented at the EMCC Practitioner level and coaches can apply for the European Individual Award.

PREREQUISITES
- 1. Completion of a coach training programme equivalent to our Modules 1 and 2 (71 ACSTH hours)
- 2. Pre-course reading (about 4 hours worth – materials will be provided)
- 3. Attendance to a 3.5 hrs. session with a member of our faculty to discuss key concepts about Modules 1 and 2, and the pre-course reading.

Who is this for?
This programme is designed for advanced coaches. Graduates of Transcend’s Certificate in Professional Coaching (Modules 1 & 2) or graduates from another institute who fulfil the parameters listed under the Prerequisites are eligible to enrol for this programme. Coaches interested in Transformational Coaching will find this programme extremely beneficial.
A mindset open to a Transformational way of being, while not a prerequisite, will be an advantage as this is Transformational Coaching at its deepest level.
Aims and Objectives
Module 3: Transformational Coaching I
This programme lays the foundation for vertical development and transformational coaching, challenging and supporting coaches to move beyond performance coaching into the realm of transformational coaching. Coaches will deepen and expand coaching skills and competency enabling them to partner skillfully with clients as they work with values, vertical development, meaning and transformational goals. This is grounded in the development of exceptional motivational balance. These skills will in turn help prepare them to coach at the Practitioner level or higher as defined by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and/or the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Module 4: Transformational Coaching II
This programme grounds coaches firmly in developmental theory and challenges them to become highly skilled in transformational coaching. This is grounded in the development of exceptional emotional and mental balance along with the ability to remain resourcefully attentive to meaningful and desired results. Coaches will have a commitment to ongoing development and demonstrate competency at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level as defined by the ICF and be aiming at the Practitioner Level or higher as defined by the EMCC.
Learning Outcomes
Module 3: Transformational Coaching I
- Grounding in adult developmental theory and entry points for transformational coaching
- Enable coaches to develop skill in application of models, theories, coaching moves and methods to support deep transformational change
- The evidence of the development of a “way of being” that embodies a transformational coaching ethos
- An understanding and application of the ethics, standards and competencies required for effective coaching at the Practitioner level
- To co-create relevant and effective competency based coaching programmes and development plans
- A practice of seeking instructor (supervisor/mentor) support, engagement and reflective practice
Module 4: Transformational Coaching II
- Demonstrate skill in creating and working with developmental goals
- Understanding and having the ability to skillfully work with coaching clients towards cognitive and attentional balance
- A commitment to long term competency-based development grounded in practice-focused feedback and reflection
- A commitment to the engagement in supervision and reflective practice
- Confidence they have demonstrated coaching competency at the PCC level through competency-based assessment according to ICF standards

Completion requirements
All students are expected to complete all aspects of the programme, which includes live trainer instruction, practice, discussions, assignments, Q&A sessions, participate in feedback and observed coaching. Additionally students will receive mentor coaching/coaching supervision. In the event that attendance is not possible then alternative solutions will be provided that comply with ICF and EMCC coach training standards.
Certification
Successful completion of Modules 3 & 4 earns the coach our Advanced Certificate in Professional Coaching and is approved content for 63 Level 1 (Approved Coach Specific Training Hours) or 63 CCEs (Continuing Coach Education Units). Students are eligible to apply for the ACC (Associate Certified Coach) or PCC (Professional Certified Coach) accreditations via the ACSTH Path.
Successful completion of the entire pathway (Modules 1-4) earns the coach our Certificate in Professional Coaching Mastery. This programme is accredited as an ACTP (Accredited Coach Training Programme) by the ICF and as an EMCC EQA (European Quality Awarded) programme.
